COMPASSIONATE US SOLDIER IN IRAQ

Air Force Chief Master Sergeant John Gebhardt of 332nd Expeditionary Medical Group at Balad in Iraq cradles a young girl as they both sleep in the hospital. All her family were executed by insurgents and she was shot in the head but later received treatment from American forces at the hospital. Apparently the girl cries often and the Master Sergeant, who spents most of his spare time at the hospital, is the only one who is able to calm her down.
